WHY the on earth are you lot suggesting I become a mod?
this is the biggest piss take in years? or trying ( and very well indeed) to stir up shit?

Actually it's quite a mixture of high and lowbrow stuff. Most people here are quite intelligent, they just have good ways of hiding it.barcode wrote:Please this place was already at its lowest common denominator before I even joined,
There are no absolutes in science, but I'm certain that's a "no". That's the ignorance people are talking about right there.Barcode wrote:just like 30 years ago the got it wrong it could happen again.

oh, and NO ONE is suggesting you be a mod apart from Jovis, and that's only for entertainment value.

Yes but since when has tiresome, ignorant, pompous, annoying and troll like precluded anyone from participating in this community ? Barcode is no less accomplished at it than any of the other members, but he does it with errors, and so it becomes more obvious.Hymagumba wrote:
I, personally, do not find his spelling to be the annoying point. I simply find him tiresome, ignorant, and generally annoying and troll like. Even when he is able to spell I find his attitude so boring and his dismissal of those who do not adore him pompous.

I think we should have an election. I nominate Barcode to be a new moderator.
Yes but Jamez is a shitstirrer, ignore anything he posts.
I've spent many a year helping younger brothers with homework and two years working with a dyslexic manager so I can happily read the majority of his posts in two attempts at the most. I'm not so cretinous as to discriminate on those grounds. It would be easier if he was to be more careful with his spelling (which I believe is currently causing him trouble because his firefox upgraded and he didn't update the dictionary with it).
Having sat here and thought about it whilst retyping this three times to due new replies from Sput and SE being highlighted, I suspect it is his stubbornness that annoys me. If there is one type of person I cannot stand it is those who cannot accept when they are incorrect and then behave like a complete tosspot when proven wrong. Bulldozer people I call them and StuPlymouth is a very mild form of one.
Rob Del Monte and his punctuations was a particularly bad one and barcode is on that level. That is the route of my dislike.
Perhaps if he would
1 - learn to debate politely
2 - learn to shut up when proven wrong by sput
3 - sort his spelling to stop drawing attention to his posts and the issues within them
Then I wouldn't mind him so much. Although by now I suspect he's annoyed a chunk of the membership so much it would be hard to do so without a rebranding and soft relaunch.
And Stu, I'm sober and have not had a drink in days, I'm perfectly aware of what I am typing and am not one to go about retracting posts just because you do not approve.

really? I must say surely that would be more counter productive than helpful. You're in your 30s are you not? Did they make you write in normal classes?barcode wrote:you do know that, I'm now out of the school system, but while in the school I never had to write ONE exam!

30's? I'm not as old as you: early ealry 20's
yes there put my in normal classes: put once again some one was there writing for me:
""although I notice once again we're back to spelling and you ignored the rest of my post.""
one thing at a time:
with 2 - learn to shut up when proven wrong by sput I have leaned to deal with him, and doesn;t make since, I though were suppose to debate ( that will be covered more with no1 )
and on top of that I though this place was a bitch feast?
