Anita Roddick has died age 64 of a brain haemorrhage. Peculiarly I've always confused her with Laura Ashley, and now I know why.
Laura Ashley died at age 60 of a brain haemorrhage.
I'm actually a little freaked out.

They were both very much part of the same era, though, Gavin, so I can understand the confusion.
The previous 'er indoors was very much into Laura Ashley. Many an unhappy hour have I spent in the original Bath shop, simply as the provider of the cheque book.
Yet another reason why I hate Bath (for those following the theme).

Whilst the departure of both will be respected, I must say that the loss of Anita Roddick is surely the more significant to me. I always had a great deal of repect for her commitment.Gavin Scott wrote:Anita Roddick has died age 64 of a brain haemorrhage.

Anita Roddick was well known for working relentlessly for the causes she believed in. The worthy seem to go early. She was posting on her website only days ago.
