Today at work, I was helping my manager to pack away some stuff in order for it to be moved to another office. Next door to the office, is an area of loft space which is used as a storage area. We took the opportunity to do a clear out of the storage space, which had been used as a bit of a dumping ground. I am now in possession of an electric guitar, four or five LPs of Baroque music, a sheepskin coat which is grubby but otherwise in good condition, a hammock and a pair of worn-but-still-with-the-box Doc Martens boots (size 9).
Amazing what people leave behind/chuck away.

My neighbour dumped a stereo system outside my flat the other day saying it didn't work, it's now in full working order in my lounge.

Been a member of the Basingstoke Freecycle for a few months now (on the recommendation of a friend), thanks to that site I've managed to get rid of a sofa, countless armchairs, and a computer.Spencer For Hire wrote:Sounds like some of you might like Freecycle if other people's tat is your thing.

Since when have you become all snobby? Also for someone who has left the forum, been banned and returned here you must have something in common with us. Or do you only post these days to look down on everyone?Jamez wrote:Oh I'm on a forum populated by tramps, drunks, mentals and magpies.
