Because of a certain incident involving the News 24 headline bed.

I have no idea what was behind the asterisks. I would imagine it wasn't very nice (before he deleted the post at least).

he was an annoying twat. His reason for leaving is to do with his dodgy "i have the 2007 N24 vamp" thread, where he was going tos end it to everyone, but then his computer crashed, the upload failed, his copy corrupted, the person who sent it to him moved to spain and then the daleks invaded his house.

Last time I checked the Westcountry wasn't a particularly affluent area (in fact, I would go so far as to say a little deprived compared to the rest of the country), so the chance of someone there buying a property overseas is quite slim. The fact that that person would also just happen to be interested in TV pres as well makes it sound ever so slightly implausible.

You misspelled "care" there. And may I be the first to say "whom??", please?
I've got a feeling that 'Janner South West' was a user who changed their name around the start of the year. It may even be mentioned in this thread what their original username was, as I seem to recall they created a bit of a fuss in their first few months for some reason.

Thinking about it without searching wasn't it along the lines of "[insert newsreader] Fan"?

no, as far as I'm aware 'Anne MacKenzie Fan' is a completely different user. Janner South West is fourteen years old and has a father who used to work (and might still work) in the Navy or the RAF.

His post history from back to front

What a vast, sweeping (and incorrect) generalisation you have made.

Well, looking at statistics:
  • Devon and Cornwall's industry is mostly primary-sector work based around tourism, fishing, mining and farming, all of which are suffering due to depleting mines, cheaper imports and the instability of the tourism market.
  • Wikipedia on Cornwall wrote:Cornwall is one of the poorest areas in the United Kingdom. The GVA per head was 65% of the UK average for 2004.[21]. The GDP per head for Cornwall and the Scillies was 79.2 of the EU-27 average for 2004, the UK per head average was 123.0 [22]
  • Wikipedia on Devon wrote:Like neighbouring Cornwall to the west, Devon has been disadvantaged economically compared to other parts of southern England, owing to the decline of a number of core industries, notably fishing, mining and farming. Consequently, most of Devon has qualified for the European Community Objective 2 status, particularly around Exmoor, Bideford Bay and the Hartland Point peninsula which is somewhat cut off from industrial Britain by road and rail transport...
  • It's very difficult to buy a house due to second home-owners and high prices.

Statistically speaking, you've only covered 25% of the counties in the west country.

OK then, Plymouth.

(at least I'm not removing the error like JSW did in the mocks forum)
