I wish the nearest KFC to me wasn't 18 miles away and that the stupid local government don't keep blocking attempts to open one near to me (twice in 5 years!)Tonight i wish KFC would do a delivery service and i wish i could have a big lotto win.
Have you considered moving closer than your existing 18 miles from civilisation (Plymouth) or even working in KFC itself, then I could pop in and get cheap colestoral ingestions.cwathen wrote:I wish the nearest KFC to me wasn't 18 miles away and that the stupid local government don't keep blocking attempts to open one near to me (twice in 5 years!)Tonight i wish KFC would do a delivery service and i wish i could have a big lotto win.

Alas were it that simple. Despite my location information, I actually spend my time between Plymouth and Redruth, Cornwall where my parents live. Plymouth is never a problem - always a KFC within walking distance. Redruth on the other hand involves a treck down to Penzance where the nearest KFC is. In the last 5 years there have been two attempts to open a closer one. Firstly, in neighbouring Pool which was blocked on the grounds that it was too close to a McDonalds (even though adjoining premises are an ARC car wash, B&Q, Halfords and Comet - hardly a major residential issue), secondly right in Redruth on the site of a derelict garage which was blocked because of it's status as an 'important gateway to the town' (which was madness when the land is STILL derelict; kFC are the only people who have ever expressed an interest in it, and this town is shit enough to be in that book about crap towns and the only thing to be proud of about this town is it's history).Have you considered moving closer than your existing 18 miles from civilisation (Plymouth) or even working in KFC itself, then I could pop in and get cheap colestoral ingestions.
And WORKING THERE?????!!!???? I think my 3 year stint at Domino's Pizza was my contribution to the great fast food market.

Not at all.cwathen wrote:And WORKING THERE?????!!!???? I think my 3 year stint at Domino's Pizza was my contribution to the great fast food market.
You single handedly taught me about shady "shallow fried" Pizza Hut practices and the financial benefits of telephoning my order rather than using Domino's online service.
I'd be interested in what you could tell me about KFC if you did end up there.
