I only bought a few of them, Illustrator is a trial, and I may buy it but I'm not sure.Movis wrote:Nate J - in what way do you have cs3?

also, when you open Dreamweaver does it ask to allow it as I also have the icon missing.
I removed the UAC settings from Windows as I was sick of "confirm access" stuff, and it was only until after I lost the icon for Dw.
It's really about as boring as it looks - it was a ticker that I threw together intending at some point to release, but it still runs like some sort of raging shite and the CPU usage is rather smelly, although it does expand for breaking news...or does it...I'm not altogther sure I actually got round to doing that....Bail wrote:What is that being the N24 style ticker??lukey wrote:How fun.
Oh, and here's mine...

Oh well. Fun.
Oh and I DO love your desktop.
Why thank you, I don't suppose I could have a copy of said ticker, I don't mind if its resource hungry either... Perdy Please...lukey wrote:It's really about as boring as it looks - it was a ticker that I threw together intending at some point to release, but it still runs like some sort of raging shite and the CPU usage is rather smelly, although it does expand for breaking news...or does it...I'm not altogther sure I actually got round to doing that....Bail wrote:What is that being the N24 style ticker??lukey wrote:How fun.

I love how so many people are turning it off *after* they install everything, which is when the popups come up the most.Nate J wrote:I removed the UAC settings from Windows as I was sick of "confirm access" stuff, and it was only until after I lost the icon for Dw.
Remember if you've installed it with it on, and then turned it off, you can run into problems re: file/folder virtualisation.
I mean for goodness sake. After the first three days of setting up it appears perhaps once or twice a day. Hardly that annoying for security that has been part of Mac, Unix and Linux for ages.

Note all the usual crap that this is very muchly unfinished, doesn't work half the time, and don't hold me responsible if your face explodes.
In theory you should be able to move it about from the BBC News DOG but this tends not to work. You're also meant to be able to right-click it to change the window alpha. Same warning.
