ppl Testers wanted!

Anonymous

I have designed a new social networking site and am hoping it will be a success. It is still in the testing phase and am asking Metropol 24))7 users if they could make an account there and help me with beta testing. If you register and make a page, play around adding photos and stuff and then point out any faults/areas of improvement I will be very grateful. There might even be something in it for you.

So trot along to http://www.ppluk.co.nr now and register if you have a spare moment.

When I have finished testing it at this domain it will be available at http://www.ppl.net.

Thanks! if you have any questions please email me or find me on ppl through the admin accout. Don't forget to visit The Cow™.

Precious time, effort, and if you're on pay as you go internet, money.

Does that still exist for domestic use? We use a plug-in 3G card for connection on lap-tops if we are away from the office for work, and that is PAYG methnks, but employers pay for that, not little ol' me!

Of course the name NTL would be visited upon by a crew from Tricky Dicky who would insist you were now (a) Virgin (or made some impromtu surgery to make sure you never bacame anything but)!

I was placed on "snail-up" for 3 days earlier this year (as has been well documented on here) and that wasn't as slow as I expected. I was worried AOL & BT were going to treat it as PAYG, but they did their stuff and sorted it quickly and nothing appeared on my bill for "snail-up connections".

I did originally put this quote before the previous comment, but I couldn't resist moving it and in my rather childish and post-pub Sunday afternoon "Carry-On-Innuendo" humour mentioning the lady who used to live next door to my Gran who always introduced herself to us as:

"Miss Epsley, 83 and still a virgin".

I'm sure she died one too as it was 20 years ago when I was a mere youngster at the time*. It was quite an amazing statement to make to children, but she loved the reaction I think.

EDIT:
* Not that I was going to correct her status!
