Laptop Woes - Jack plug snapped off in headphone socket

Crack the bugger open, yeah! If not, you could always get a USB sound "card" if you really need noisemaking capabilities.

Try pliers, that normally works for me. Disconnect all power though.

Firstly, if you snapped it by walking away from your laptop when you still had your headphones on... that's very funny! :lol:

Secondly, what glue are you using? Try No More Nails, i used it to get part of a snapped key out of the door once. It's strong stuff.

Oh we've all done that, and just hoped no one was looking as the earplugs were visciously ripped out!

The shame is worse than the pain! :shock:

I also snapped the key to the car once by trying to be too quick and walking off whille it was still partly in the lock. I spent the next 12 months opening the car door with the edge of a 20p piece before I decided it wasn't very secure!

I had the car crushed - it saved me having to carry a supply of 20ps! :roll:
