Do any of you still drink traditional beer or lager? When i go out now all i drink is vodka and lemonade/cola.

I dont feel manly enough sitting there drinking my vodka and lemonade, well until ive had about 4 of them and then im more relaxed :D

As I don't drink, my dad is encouraging me to experiment, or my flatmates to do it for me. I'm wondering if I should try a Guinness for Saturday (even though St. Patrick isn't actually an Irish saint)...

Yep. I love a Budweiser or a Stella. Or seven.

One of the crowd I drink with on Monday nights is still on Carlsberg, but I think he's the only lager "lout".

Round here there are quite a few on beer, Wadworth's 6X or IPA.

I avoid all such beverages and stick with the dark grape.

I did try some Old Hooky (possibly a product of Arkell's) whilst down your parts, didn't like it at all mind.

I find lager more refreshing than bitter or ale. That said, I would say that I do not enjoy British lagers like Carling at all. I much prefer the stuff of the Continent, especially San Miguel, Amstel, or Grolsch.

I'd drink: Budweiser (both US & Czech versions), Fosters Extra Cold, Grolsch, Carlsberg Export or Becks in Beer.

Magners or Strongbow (if short on funds) in Cider, of which I never started drinking until I went to the Beer festival in Earls Court last year.

Red or White wine, either will do.

Vodka & Coke

So not much no ;)
