TVF - The stalkers tool.

Well, not to make it a tool. But earlier today, some one from school who I blocked on an old MSN account managed to find my new one, not from other people, but from TVF.

Now, this guy doesn't go on TVF, but somehow he found my MSN from my profile, his answer for finding me was "I was just searching the web."

Doesn't sound much, but scared me shitless people can find you like this. Anyone else had this experience?

Could he have googled your username name and the search results came up for TVF. Perhaps you should think of doing an Andy24/7primetimetv. and reinvent yourself.

Errr... if you put your MSN address on the internet, surely it's patently obvious someone will find it?

Its similar for most forums listed on Google. Just do a search for a username from a forum, and up it comes.

Checking the admin page here shows robots of various origin (including google) reading the memberlist pages.

If you leave your email out there then it will certainly be read by something or someone.

Best thing to do is have seperate Email addys for personal and public stuff.

I'm guessing he searched for my website to be honest and found my username, I did decide to have a public and private MSN, and for some reason my private one is on my profile.

Anyway, I've spoken to the guy who I thought it was, and turns out it wasn't him, so it's probably just a member.
