Many thanks for the person who has brought this to the wonderful forum - I printed it off and took it into my place of work (Fosseway Radio...you know the station that James Martin masturbates over) and the afternoon presenter loved it so much that he used it.

Well he passed it on to freelance presenter Kenny Hague who presents a weekend show on BBC Radio Leicester - and he plans to use it on his show. So if you hear Huw Edwards tell everyone how he's a weeping willow on the ten o'clock news then you can be pretty proud of yourself.

Hey thanks James. I can't believe its being used by radio presenters - I posted it on here because I found it extremely interesting - a friend from the States actually sent it to me, so I'll try to find out if he knows where it originated from. I don't know if it's been around for centuries, or just penned by someone recently. But in my case, and in the case of many of my friends, it's so accurate it's almost sinister!
Everyone hears what you say,
Friends listen to what you say,
Best friends listen to what you don't say.

but from ukpsychics.com:
APPLE TREE (the Love) - of slight build, lots of charm, appeal, and attraction, pleasant aura, flirtatious, adventurous, sensitive, always in love, wants to love and be loved, faithful and tender partner, very generous, scientific talents, lives for today, a carefree philosopher with imagination.
Like Chinese Whispers, this is!

...does that answer your question?

Fig Tree (Sensibility) -- Very strong minded, a bit self-willed, honest,
loyal, independent, hates contradiction or arguments, hard worker when wants to be, loves life and friends, enjoys children and animals, few sexual
relationships, great sense of humor, has artistic talent and great
intelligence.

All true except the Artistic Talent bit.

Off course it all seams amazingly accurate. It's written to be like that. It's the same way Horiscopes and mediums work. And to think people actually believe things like this.

Just proves the old adage, There's one born every minute

Thought i'd drag up an old thread just to tell you I'm a Walnut tree.Walnut Tree (Passion) -- Unrelenting, strange and full of contrasts, often
egotistic, aggressive, noble, broad horizon, unexpected reactions,
spontaneous, unlimited ambition, no flexibility, difficult and uncommon
partner, not always liked but often admired, ingenious strategist, very
jealous and passionate, no compromise.

What happened to Cheesehead? Is he still in Australia? He's been everso quiet. He might have been eaten by a dingo.

Sorry to be the cynic as usual, but in addition to cat's point from all those months and months ago, have you noticed how each description is largely positive? It is a psychological tendency for people to attribute positive descriptions to oneself. Everyone would be moaning about the inaccuracy of it all should the descriptions include negative attributes.

Tell you what, I'll look over the descriptions, decide which one matches, and then see whether they've got my date of birth correct. I suspect... no.
