Just another question, did Metropol 24))7 almost got shut down (as he claimed)? Or it was merely a report to the ISP (or hosting company)?

No that's rubbish. The site owner was advised that a complaint was received, and voluntarily removed references to the individual concerned. Had the ISP found there was any wrongdoing they would have pulled the site themselves, but they did not.


I couldn't care less about the bogus and deceitful business activities of this person, but he'd better learn to quit while he is ahead if he thinks he can drag Metropol into his web of lies.

Just to provide some information for those who are interested.

Tidus (KJ Computers) contacted me about leaving SillyDog701 on 18th January, after making a number of uncalled-for personal attacks on a number of SillyDog701 members.

10 days later, he finally decided to leave, with following threats:

If you or Lobster follows us anywhere, or spreads rumours, i swear, i will come down on you both like 6 tons of bricks, and that is a promise!

and

Rikku and I are in the process of starting a legit private company, specialising in freelance IT contracting, performing the same tasks we did here. Although, i regret, once the company is up, we will not be returning to SillyDog, and neither SillyDog, its members, Metropol24/7, or Dr Lobster, will be notified by us personally that our company is running, or its name, and purpose.

We will however, still browse this forum, anonymously, to ensure that no ill behaviour, slagging off, or ridiculing of us is taking place. Once our section is closed, i want NO further mention of us whatsoever.

after this admission, i sincerely hope tidus and djgm seek the appropriate psychiatric help they need. if tidus is anything like this in real life, i'm pretty sure it won't be long before he finds himself in trouble. very odd people indeed.


incidentally, on the subject of odd, i just got home from an indian here:



it's called the jalsa ghar, in great dunmow, essex. it's quite an odd experience having waiters take your order with a pda. it's also equally frustratning that any special requests (such as NO FUCKING SALAD) are duly ignored because they haven't got a space to enter it. lovely chicken tikka though and thoroughly recommended, if only for the atypical setting.

Ah, my home town! And I did actually have my first (and, so far, only) proper Indian meal there with my dad. I also recommend it.

Yeah, but you wouldn't want to live there for 12 years. There's not very much to do.

you are at least in reasonable commuting distance of london, so it can't be all bad. the nearest big city with stuff to do is norwich, which, is ok for a night out but as there isn't a direct train link it means somebody either has to drive or you have to stay over which even in the cheapest of places adds another £50 to the night out.

me and my friends have actually got a bit bored of kings lynn, it's ok for the odd night out but there is basically three places to go and thats it and there are always fights and trouble.

we're going to organise visits to most of the big cities this year, we hope to have some nights out in newcastle, york, nottingham etc. it's just being arsed to do all that driving, railwail links here are appauling, it's not too bad to get to birmingham on the train, there is only one change at ely, but still.

If they do not get your food right, you don't have to pay for it. However, they have the right not to take your order.

Since I don't eat spicy food, I always specify no chilli. About 40% of the time I have to return the dishes as they ignored the no chilli request.

Well, i tell you this. I may be only 21, but i'm trained to defend myself, and i will damn well kill you if you follow me, or i ever have the misfortune of meeting your ugly nasty mug.

If Dr Lobster is in trouble or missing, I hope you guys can contact police about this potential suspect.
