Ivel, with an "e", if I'm not mistaken.

It's the old name for Yeovil, Somerset.

Yes - I believe it's called "St Evil's Dolphin's Head Wax Fake-Butter". The label on the top proudly proclaims "Tuna Friendly".

I use cheap Sainsbury's own brand for sandwiches, but it has to be Lurpak Spreadable for baked potatoes etc where you are wanting to taste those calories going down!

I also agree with Gav about the neccesity of some colestoral-rich lard for the Sunday Roast. It's just not the same unless you are clogging some arteries. It makes up for having to be healthy all week!

Why do people say “Quad bike” and “Double prime”—it is like saying a “three-sided square”, oh wait they do, “Tri-square”?!

1: There has been a moratorium on commercial whaling in most of the world since the mid 1980s - of course, St Evil's is made in Japan.
2: Cetyl Palmitate doesn't just come from whales/Flipper*.
3: PETA is not a reputable source of unbiased information (as an aside, they apparently kill animals).

* "Fatty esters are formed essentially of cetyl palmitate (C32) and cetyl myristate (C30). Purified spermaceti has an aspect of a light mass of white crystals which can be powdered. It can be fused with bee wax and other fatty compounds (oils, fatty acids). Its melting point is 42-50°C. Spermaceti was used in medicine in England (15th century) and later in cosmetics, pharmacy and also in candles but, after the recent international regulation concerning whale captures, it is no longer produced and sold. It is now replaced by synthetic spermaceti made of pure cetyl palmitate or mixtures based on jojoba" - http://www.cyberlipid.org/wax/wax0001.htm

① There has been a moratorium on commercial 'whaling' in most of the world since the mid 1980s - of course, St Evil's is made in 'Japan' (?!!!?!?!?!?) .. .. ... ....
Cetyl Palmitate doesn't just come from whales/Flipper† ........ ... . . . ..... ....
③ P.E.T.A. is/are not a 'reputable' source of unbaised (sp?) information‡ (as an aside, they apparently kill 'animals') .. . .... ........ .. .
&c. ad infinitum

† "Fatty esters are formed essentially of cetyl palmitate (C32) and cetyl myristate (C30). Purified 'spermaceti' has an aspect of a light mass of white crystals which can be powdered. It can be fused with bee wax and other fatty compounds (oils, fatty acids). Its melting point is 42-50°C. ‡ "PETA is WOOOOOOOOOOOOO james luvz sarah!!!!!!!! an organization full of LOONIES that can't be trusted" - some Wikipedia article. I 'like' using Wikipedia as a source. It's 'relaible' (sp?).
