Mobile phone camera randomness

so there i was, sitting in my car waiting for the rain to ease before i made a dash inside, i decided to kill a bit of time playing about with my phone - i went through my pictures and what is listed below is pretty much everything i have on my phone (save for a few black ones which must have one off in my pocket and a couple of people who wouldn't want their image posted)

funny thing is, i can't remember taking half of them and more importantly, i can't even remember why i took some of them.

anyway here are mine, so lets ave a look at what randomness you've got lurking on your phone.

my dog, cubert

and again....

a bit of our lounge

Image

cubert looking at his roast dinner i made him, which he couldn't eat because it needed to cool down... not sure why i took that one.

Image

he shouldn't even be on the sofa, but he gets on there when we take our eyes of him.

Image

and again, i think i sent these images to my gf whilst she was at work.

Image

sent to a friend showing cuberts new coat (doesn't he look like a little soldier?)

Image

a view of hunstanton one fairly quiet sunday... the tracks you can sort of see are of somebody being dragged along...

Image

and a view of a kite... my friends are quite into kiting, they've got the buggy and stuff and whilst i don't really participate myself, it is fun - thing is, if you get caught by a gust and are inexperienced, you can get pulled some distance into the air, it's quite a suprise, and my one of my friends nearly broke his ankle doing this.

Image

and this is a picture i took to show various people what our wedding venue will look like when me and the gf get married next year, it's a big converted barn. we wanted a castle, but of course that wasn't really affordable, plus thre nearest one is quite far away.

Mobile phone cameras are one of the most useful things ever. I am seriously considering replacing my current phone for one with a camera built in. It's just not feasible to carry around a full size camera everywhere you go, but mobile phones are brought around everwhere, meaning photos or mini movies can be taken at any time. Something to save up for Christmas :-)

the movies are ok, i filmed a few at the beach when we were kiting and put them on dvd and they looked ok - just a shame the sound is so poor though.

i've seen some really interesting deveopments with proper zoom lenses and focus controls on phones too - if there is one thing that annoys me with my e900 is focus is fixed and so limited.

I really like your dining table and chairs. Where did you get them?

Damn - can't afford it at that price - I need double-glazing more urgently.

Back to Pikea it is for me then.
