What newspaper do you read, if any? I read the Daily Mail, and while I find it amusing that their bigotry increases day after day, I am exceedingly frustrated by their magazine articles on "The REAL Princess Margaret" or some such person. And I swear that at least one of these in Saturday's paper is Nazi related.
So I'm almost totally inclined to give up reading them all for good. What's the best one out there, and is it really worth it anyway?

I don't read the papers. I get my news from BBC Online.
I occassionally read the Metro (Scotland) on the way to work as the letters page up here is very funny. It's as dull as dishwater darn sarth.

Don't often read them as i'm usually too busy, i found out the other day that i'm only person in the village to have a copy of the Independant. Some geezer asked for a copy in the local post office/general stores to be told that i have the only copy hehe.. He only wanted it for a pice in the health section that day. I buy it for Deborah Ross mainly
On Sunday i must have the News of the world, it's a comic for adults. Nothing quite like starting the weekend with a smile. Also the Times and independant for the supplements. Other than that for world and current affairs i choose the BBC, Sky, Itv and Meridian news TV channels.

I think The Guardian is really good, although I don't buy it as often as I'd like to. It's improved considerably since its revamp and change of size. The Sun isn't too bad either to be honest, people tend to be snobby about it but it's fun and usually a good read with excellent columnists (Jane Moore in particular).
Don't get me started on The Mirror, though. I'm sure George Galloway is the editor! I have never once agreed with the "The Mirror Says..." column.

i buy the times and the indepentant fairly regularly (couple of times a week maybe), i also buy private eye every fortnight (or when i remember), which i guess you could class as a newspaper and our local rag, the lynn news.
i get most of my daily news from bbc online, the register, the inquirer, zdnet

If I want cheap and cheerful then I'll buy The Mirror, if I have alot of spare time with nothing to do then I buy The Guardian, though I tend to read it online more than anything, but getting the actual paper now and again, it's pretty good in content.
Though at work we usually have loads of copies of The Sun and Daily Star lying about, though they just don't interest me really, all about Big Brother and Z-List celebrities, couldn't give a damn...

When I am commuting, it's usually the Metro because it's free and some of the editorial isn't too bad for a freebie. Usually read the Sun, Daily Mail and Guardian and Times if they're lying about, and I pop into the library to gander at the local rags every now and then, not really worth buying for the kind of stuff they sometimes have in it.
The Sun isn't too bad when compared to the Daily Star, which I had the misfortune of finding on my train seat the other day. I wouldn't even wipe my arse with it - I had a flick through and the content is nothing short of drivel. I can't believe that they call this a newspaper and that people actually buy it. Although, it does come from the same company that produces the Daily Express, so I think we can draw our own conclusions from that one.
