Mastercard are introducing a "new" logo:

The three circles of the new corporate logo build on the familiar interlocking red and yellow circles of the MasterCard consumer brand, and reflect the company's unique, three-tiered business model as a franchisor, processor and advisor.
Are there HTML wraparound tags to indicate bollocks text?

We've got a till at work and I think they updated the logo around 12 months ago.

I preferred the old 70s one, myself.

Whatever happened to Delta? Visa Debit cards always run through our systems as DELTA but yet I see no sign of branding on the actual cards. Are they the same?

Look on the back of the card.

Originally, the logo was on the front, but it was replaced with the phrase 'Debit Card' for some reason.

The Delta brand has been/is being phased out, I believe. Just like Switch, but without the penguins.

Can anyone tell me what the difference between Maestro and Cirrus is? I've never put a Cirrus card through, but I do notice that Maestro cards have the logo on the back, with a note in the leaflet I got with my last card that the card can be used abroad where Cirrus is accepted. Similar logo to Maestro - but blue.

I would have checked more thoroughly, but some bastard from work decided to take ownership of my wallet without my say so on saturday.

Congratulations to Egg who got a replacement card to me this morning (tuesday). Just waiting to see who'll be next from Abbey, Barclays, Barclaycard and Tesco!

Received the Barclaycard and Connect card yesterday - finally can do some spending again!

However, getting back on topic: whilst the Connect card I was sent was of the old design, the enclosed leaflet showed the new standard Visa card layout (PDF link)

It has the new logo, the hologram is moved to the back where it is over the length of the magnetic strip, there's no longer a 'flying V' next to the expiry date, and it's just the single word 'Debit' underneath the logo.
