But Jamez uses Plusnet iirc... hmmm... that said there's no reason why he couldn't have been on another connection so it doesn't prove a thing!
i think he's on tiscali now... one of the admin will be able to confirm where his most recent posts were coming from...

Jamez has been accused of a load of shit he didn't do and once again bullying has forced him out of Metropol.
but he did... did you even read his very own response until he edited it?

Unlike the parodying of characters like Simon Luxton, it was done with malicious intent.
but jamez has dished out a fair amount of "parodying" in his time, accusing (and using a forum members full name) of being a paedophile on more than one occasion, publishing said forum members' home address, making a telephone call to his home and so on.

if you think that's harmless fun then i don't think there is much else which can be said to convince you otherwise.

it would be different if some of these pranks were levied at different people, they were all targeted at one person who is already an easy target.
I saw the piss-taking of Forum characters no different to say seeing John Prescott be ripped to pieces in a Jon Culshaw impression.
in which case, why wasn't jamez able to take it like a man and not quit?

with some of his mocks he's made of people are far worse than anything i've seen here.

i think this whole saga has simply highlighted the character he is; a bully that can't take what he dishes out himself.

I really do think it's a shame, and I wonder if I'll enjoy this forum as much without him. He bought a lot of stuff to the forum which I think we will all miss.

You may have won the battle, but we all lost the war.
What are you talking about? Jamez left of his own accord.

All he received from me was a warning. Are you really trying to tell me that he shouldn't be warned for accusing someone of paedophilia?

You have some strange ideas Mr Martin.

"Trouties Sock" - according to the evidence I have seen - is an invention of Jamez Prout in an effort to gain sympathy.

This is a shocking turn of events, and has made me question whether Batholemew, Sideshow Ed, Bones and all the others were ALSO an invention of James to strike up sympathy.

I'd like some answers.

Next time James Martin, engage your brain before criticising the moderation.

I'm not going to lie to you kids, I've had a *stinker* of a morning so far, so I'm not suffering fools gladly.

And I'll tell you this: I will BAN the next person who leaps in to defend the indefensible.

I've been made a monkey by all this Trout business, and I'm not taking no more.

YAY Gav! You're like someone out of Dynasty. I'm putting on my trouser suit now to get into the spirit of things.

Aherm...but in all seriousness - things do seem to have taken a strange turn. As hypocritical and childish Jamez could be, I didn't think he would actually feel the *NEED* to invent characters that would garner opinion on what people really think of him.

I guess it all makes sense. Every time he supposedly "leaves" - a Dusty, Sideshow, Bones, etc characters pops up to rip the piss out of him and all of a sudden Jamez is back to defend "his" honour.

Sad, very sad.

And I think Gavin sums it up when he says that fools have been made over the whole thing.

Let's hope we can put the whole thing to bed now.

I can't speak for Sideshow, Bones et al, but I am no Trout invention, I can assure you.

I have been a member of TVF in my own right since 2002.

I had left Jamez's profile active in the hope that this situation could be resolved.

Instead of that I see he has been deleting his posts one-by-one, therefore I have no choice but to ban him.

I can't allow the tapestry of forum converation to be un-picked just because someone would rather deny their actions than deal with them.

He'll be back.

He didn't finish his video mock of 'Video Killed the Radiostar'.

Or, come to think of it, the N24 bulletin presented by Martin Lambie-Anderson.

He's already back as "J2", and I assume is writing a post in anger.

I am ready.
