Hi,

I bought the new Motorola SLVR L7 Red yesterday from the Carphone Warehouse. Very nice, but unfortunately it only gives 60 seconds for my phone to be detected on Bluetooth.

I was just wondering if there was a way to make my Bluetooth be on permanently without me having to turn it on everytime I want to use it.

There is a programme called Mobiluck which seems to do the job but it's only on a free trial. I could buy it but it only allows you to use it for 1 year and I would want it for longer than that.

Ta.

I had that phone (in black) for 24 hours before returning it back to the shop for a refund because I hated it. Looks great but I prefer the functionality of the Sony Ericsson W550i. Would love a W810 in black ...if only I was rich.

I quite like the phone. It functions well and it looks quite nice as well.

Its just the Bluetooth "problem". Apparently, it's standard across all Motorola models.

Yeah well I couldn't stand the GUI and the Bluetooth didn't work particularly well. I appreciate the way SE Mobiles work with iSync as I work one or two days overtime each week and placing my hours in the phone means it will also appear on iCal. Unfortunately Motos do not have Sync capability, at least not with a Macintosh.

It is a standard motorola feature.

IMO motorola phones are all looks and not functionality.

My Nokia phones all let me stay discoverable for as long as I like and they're all smartphones so there is tons of software available for it and there are plenty of features.

What a coincidence! I saw that exact line on some paper in a bin next to a fax machine the other day! ;)

Well, I was doing a search to find out opinions about our marketing the other day.

Somebody described it as "brutal" and "superlative-strewn".

Can you believe this?

My L7 didn't work with iSync. Did try it a few times. Was only able to use file transfer.
