*yawn*

In an attempt to get away from a match most boring, we headed down to the local Itallian Restaurant after half time, only to find that they've gone and installed a flat screen TV there. Thankfully without audio.

At least we didn't win this time due to the other side scoring an own goal.

Another side-effect of the world cup is the fact that every petrol station and supermarket has been raided of ice, a fact I painfully encountered today when none of Sainsbury's, Tesco Local, the Texaco garage and the Total garage had ice remaining. It's either because of the world cup or the start of the second Cold War. This is totally outrageous, do you realise I had to drink warm coke tonight? I ended up resorting to grotty inferior "homemade" ice but that takes too long to solidify. I can't believe it, can we please form some kind of an angry mob to guard the ice in these stores from these criminal thugs? Nobody should be allowed to buy ready made ice except me.

But yay we won!

What has the disappearence of ice from shops got to do with the World Cup?

Am I missing something here?

In the game I was watching, we lost by two runs.

Most disappointing.

Was that tiddlywinks or Cludo?

I dont see the point of paying some supermarket lots of money to buy a bag od ice cubes where my zreezer will do them just as well nad we dont have to worry about where the water comes from (probably somewhere down south) as your water is very nice out of the tap. (I can get a bucket load sent to anyone in the post if thay want, Am sure royal mail wont mind)

Do you know i suffered the whole match just to relay it by text message to someone who couldn't see it! Oh how i suffered. It didn't cost me much. 1 text to say how dull it was and 2 to say they'd scored.
