The thwack of feather on window
Blimey, toughened glass is a bit good, isn't it? That's six times (that I know about) in the last four weeks that a bird has flown straight at my windows, and four of them were killed on impact - two blackbirds and two woodpigeons. I wonder if I could somehow make use of all these dead birds? Woodpigeons are pretty hefty birds, there must be some good eating on them and it seems a waste to leave it all to next door's cat.
I've never heard of birds commiting suicide via slamming themselves into peoples windows.
However, I think my next door neighbour may have experienced birds slamming into her garden greenhouse, because it's now been painted with dozens of white blobs. It's the first polka-dot greenhouse I've seen!

How strange. I wonder what the birdies can see through your window that would make them want to come in so much.
Have you been leaving worm pies on your windowsill?

That's right.
Dropping the feather with Ted Moult.
His always seemed a very appropriate name for that particular commercial.

A pigeon crashed into my salon window once. It didn't half make me jump. It didn't die there and then the vet did that later.
I have the doors open in the summer and every know and then squirrels will run in and out. They're so cute!

Flew right into it. Made a big dent. Landed next to pump 6. DOA. Cleared it up. Put it in Contaminated Sand hopper.

Hope you washed your hands after. Pidgeons are full of diseases. Mind you not as many as seagulls. They carry tons of dieases that are harmful to humans on them. I hate seagulls, they have those horrible dead grey eyes, and they nick your food when your sat on the sefront enjoying sausage and chips. Swooop!! and your sausage is gone ...
