I'm doing a survey.

Do you have a St Georges cross hanging out of your lounge / bedroom window or something similar protruding from your vehicle ?

Are you planning on displaying such an item ?

This is one of the main reasons why I would prefer that England don't win the World Cup, because the flags will take years to come down, the media will go insane, and the world will never stop hearing about wonderful 2006.

I'm considering putting a sticker in my back car window.

"Increase global warming,
by increasing petrol consumption,
by reducing miles per gallon,
by increasing drag,
by putting a stupid flag on your car."

I've no interest in bloomin' football, but DO support the England cricket team, yet I don't see the need to knock about five miles a gallon off my consumption with the drag of a flag.

I'd prefer to use the cash to pay the entrance fee to a cricket ground.

I have no idea why some companies are going politically correct about people putting up England flags, saying "It will offend ethnic minorities". I have put up a flag, and some non-white families who live nearby have also made it clear that they intend to support England.

Bloody government, that's what I say.

It's like me going to live in India and being offended at them flying their own national flag, and then the Indian government pandering to me for being such a cretin.

However, there are a lot of ethnic people in Cardiff who's families moved to the city during the first half of the 20th century. You see all the cab drivers with a big smile on their face with their cabs covered in the dragon. Most of the British Indians I've met have all impressed me with their friendliness, humour and above all patriotism for the UK!

The muslims are a different kettle of fish, though. They hate anyone and everything that isn't Islam. Really, I'm not being racist here, but if the muslims cannot tolerate western culture and ideals, then they should bugger off back to their country of ethnic origin where they can treat women like sh*t and pray to a false entity to their hearts content. Just don't bother coming over to Britiain and trying to get all our laws changed to make Britian an Islam nation. We've already seen banks pandering to them by offering interest free bank accounts and finanacial products. :roll:

I won't be hanging a flag from my car. The colours would clash.

I might hang one in the salon. I don't know yet. I expectt my customers will suggest i hang one because they've been telling me to get a tv and a fridge full of beers.

surely that's not pandering, surely that's just another way to extract money from people. Plus if there is no interest, doesn't it mean they save money in the long run?

I understand that even EastEnders is having to be politically correct, with the Truemans flying a Trinidad and Tobago flag to counteract the English ones.

I know it's old...
Due to the nature of the quality of driving in England the Department for Transport has now devised a new scheme in order to identify poor drivers and give good drivers the opportunity to recognise them whilst driving. For this reason as from the middle of May 2006 those drivers who are found to be driving badly which includes:

- overtaking in dangerous places;
- hovering within one inch of the car in front;
- stopping sharply;
- speeding in residential areas;
- pulling out without indication;
- performing U turns inappropriately in busy high streets;
- under taking on motorways and
- taking up more than one lane in multi lane roads,

These drivers will be issued with flags, white with a red cross, signifying their inability to drive properly. These flags must be clipped to a door of the car and be visible to all other drivers and pedestrians. Those drivers who have shown particularly poor driving skills will have to display a flag on each side of the car to indicate their greater lack of skill and general lower intelligence mindset to the general public. Please circulate this to as many other motorists as you can so that drivers and pedestrians will be aware of the meaning of these flags.
