Hi
First may I say how much of a help you have all been with my computer queries, and I hope to be getting my new one very soon.
Anyway, I am feeling nostalgic, and I am looking around for old sounds used on old Windows OSs, like the "Dream" startup sound on Windows 95. Does anybody know if these can be downloaded anywhere or if they can be extracted in anyway from the CDs?
Thanks
Sounds from classic Windows Operating Systems

Is there a page that the BNP voters might understand?

Do non-supporters of the BNP speak German then?Nick Harvey wrote:Is there a page that the BNP voters might understand?
Anyone else noticed that the NT4 closedown sound was the startup sound played backwards?HEHEHHE! Awww memories! The NT4.0 one sounds like an old HTV Wales ident to me.
Because it's so weird it doesn't actually matter which way round you play it.
My favourite would have to be the Windows 2000/ME sound, it doesn't seem to tire as much as the others do.
