Currently hooked on Salt N Shake at the mo. You know, the ones that used to be Smiths before Walkers obliterated every other crisp company brand in the land.

Actually, was surprised to hear the other day that the original Smiths brand is still going strong in Australia. It's their version of Walkers.

http://www.smiths.com.au - Strange to see Smiths Doritos!

So anyway, - purpose of thread coming - what crisps are we all favouring at the moment? I'm expecting Mr Harvey to say Ready Salted.

My faves are Salt and shake too. I don't add the salt but if i get a packet without the blue sachet i feel cheated.

I don't really like crisps. Cheesy Wotsits are good, as are pickled onion Monster Munch. But nothing beats Ringos in their original form - not the inferior product that they pass off as Ringos these days.

my all-time favourite crisp-type snacks include:

mini-cheddars
flaming hot monster munch
cool original doritos
walkers cheddar cheese crisps
wotsits
cheese savouries
niknaks

at the moment my 'fun' drawer is filled with the new-ish walkers spicy flavour.

does anybody else think the new design of the walkers packets is absolutly awful?

I will have to disagree with you - You just don't know that your favorite crisps are Tayto Cheese & Onion (most people don't until they try one of these cheese and onion flavoured mana(chrisp) from heaven)

Remember when Walkers did that promotion where you'd find a blue packet in their crisps and it could have a £50 note inside? And how you'd pretend the Salt N Shake sachet was a winning Walkers packet? And wind up your mates, saying "ooh i've won!"

Remember that? Nobody? Oh... ok.

Beef Monster Munch!

Damn the fact that you can only get them if you buy a multipack, which means I have to disguard the other yucky flavours like Pickled Onion and Spicy.

Cheese Nik Naks are nice, too!
