Quiz Dream Team

Here's the scene. It's quiz night, each team has five members, including yourself. Naturally you want to win, but with such varied questions, hitting whatever topic the quiz master desires, which four Metropol/TV Forum members would you invite to your team, and why.

My first choice, after his speedy response to my "challenge" in his own thread, would be Gavin Scott.

Mark Grindon I belive has a very good technical as well as general knowledge, and often knows what he is talking about so he'd be more than welcome.

Next I would choose DAS, who although I feel we have similar tastes, he'd probably know the answer to a question that would irritatingly stump me.

And finally Hyma, who seems to know random bits of information or obscure facts, perfect for a quiz.

Slightly OT:

But what to Metropolers think about the likes of The Mint, Quizcall, Big Game TV, QuizCall etc. etc.?

I reckon they're a bloody con, and I've already aired my thoughts to Icstis!

60p a call for a cat in hells chance of getting through to the studio to have a crack at a misleading quiz?!

My team (and their specialist subjects) would consist of :

Anthony Alldritt - london buses
Benjamin Shatliff - politics and itv1
Katherine - red arrows, transmitters, dickie bird
TV Forums 623058 - spelling and grammar

A formidable line up I'm sure you will agree, the rest of you may as well just surrender now.

Well, I think it's a case of natural selection in action. Those who are wise enough will steer clear and not bother to even watch, whilst those stupid enough to be roped in will pay some silly price to ring the 'studio' and fall into the trap - therefore making the people who run this operation rich.

For everything stupid for sale, there's always some idiots that will buy it. And I am sure that ITV have a lot of these people watching, otherwise they wouldn't be launching a whole channel dedicated to this asinine, uninventive barrel scraping crap.

Nick Harvey because god knows the answer to everything.
Sput because he's a rocket scientist you know.
CAT because he is a bright young thing.
And Jamez because well we can get drunk and have a laugh before during and after the quiz.

I'd have that team, Lorns, but you'd replace jamez for pop culture knowledge. Unless it's based on the BNP of course.

I'd find it extremely difficult to pick four others, from here and the other place, to compliment a "general" team, I think.

Chris Wathen needs a mention to add to those already in the frame, but to pick the final five would, probably, be more difficult than the quiz itself.

And that's from someone who regularly has to pick four, rather than five, for Sunday nights.

I'm implying that you're either ignorant or bigoted - based on your past posts.
