We had come very old RM Nimbus 286's in school with windows 2.x in all thier glory - once we finaly got new PC's they were moved from the computer rooms to one per classroom for the teachers to send messages and use for recording marks etc.

Strangly the BBC Master system networks were still in use until the day I left. Along with the old Macintosh Plus's.

I remember creating a very basic basic teletext information screen to be used in diffrent classes for the schools open day.

Ahhh Mode 7 - I rememebr it well.
There was load of information on the diffrent areas and had a basic map of the school all run by page numebrs!

Well I don't need to use the desktop much anyway and nor the start menu now I've got my fab wireless keyboard from which I can do everything.

It's one of Bill's so it'll probably break next week but *HEY*.

To be fair though he's not used to such luxury, RGS's systems are still using CRTs that suck your eyes out and mice which don't work unless you throw them at someone
