Jane Lewis fan gave back as good as he/she got from Hyma and Mercia.JLF in my opinion was not being bullied and any one with more than 1 braincell would
not have taken Hymas call for bulling seriously.

Faux scottish talk.... I thought that Txt, msn and most other slang language was frowned upon by the powers that be. It was in the terms and conditions when i last looked, or has it changed?
Hyma should never have been banned, if anything they should ALL have been made to sit on the naughty stair.
I remember how i was received when i joined TVF no warnings or bans were issued out then to Hyma and co... The mods then used common sense, but then if i remember Gavin was a mod on TVF when i joined.
Bring back Gav! Bring back Gav! He and Ison seemed to run it well together.
That was our American cousin, MrTomServo. Not me, but I'm very flattered if you thought it was.
I have taken the issue of Jane Lewis Fan under advisement, and have had some correspondence with Charlie on the matter.
"JLF" strikes me as an amiable character, and there can be no doubt that she has brought some energy into the Scottish threads in the newsroom. With an average of 5.92 posts per day since arrival she has certainly made her mark.
I'm very troubled by the use of the word "bullying". None of the remarks I read went beyond the usual acerbic comments; and were responded to with gusto (and no small amount of bad language). The exchanges between Jane Lewis Fan and Hymagumba certainly weren't mismatched.
Text speak, slang or other non-conventional ways of posting will always be picked up on by others members. I had already asked Jane Lewis Fan to avoid using broad Scots, so Pete wasn't the first to bring it up.
I recently banned bbcworld2003 for the use of the word "faggot". Just so it is absolutely clear, members may loathe one another freely, but bigoted hate-phrases will not be tollerated.
