Just thought you guys would be interested in a service called VoipDiscount, available at http://www.voipdiscount.com which offers totally free calls to landlines in lots of countries. The only catch is you have to add some funds (10 euros) to your account, which irritatingly expires after 120 days, before you can use it to call for more than 1m -- but obviously it doesn't touch your credit. Once you've added money you also get a free tel no. for incoming calls in the area closest to your location. I doubt it will last (it seems more like a publicity stunt to attract customers to me!) so enjoy it while you can!

Note: other numbers, including 0870/0845 and mobile numbers, are not free and would come out of your added credit.

It will last, as there's already a LOT of companies doing the same, most operated by the same company.

I use Wanadoo Talk, only because it's included with my monthly Wanadoo subscription, and it's easy to use, just plug a phone into their router and away you go, without the computer being on, which is handy. I get free calls evening and weekend to all 01/02 numbers, which is ok, because it's only these times I use the phone, and I don't have to add any credit! :D

You did didn't you? Something about it being about the same as Skype plus or minus the odd penny...

That's odd. Perhaps you should consider changing your password.
