But we've all made mistakes, and you seem to be holding a similar sort of "permenant, unforgivable grudge" against him to Sideshow Ed's obsession on criticising him. If you don't agree with something he does again, then point it out by all means, but there's no need to spend your life moaning about him on the forum, especially if he hasn't done anything really wrong since.
And your current criticisms -- you never made those before Jamez put your nose out of joint. He's always been a highly controversial character, but only now you focus on it.
i don't understand your point. on one hand you say it's ok for me to point out something i disagree with (thanks, by the way) and when i do so you claim it's an obsession?
perhaps if criticisms which aren't even levied against you cause you so much unease you should submit a new set of t&c to the forum admin which sets out some easy to follow posting guidelines for us all.
in any case, i'm not even the only one who holds the these views or the only one who has voiced them. perhaps you should attack the cause and not symptom or is that beyond your abilities?
It's not the pointing out that's obsessional; if you point it out and then let it drop -- perhaps mention it again if it fits the context -- but leave it at that. My perception is that you've adopted a very anti-Jamez slant ever since that happened, and you're now bringing up the most trivial of things.
If I may quote:
Dr Lobster* wrote:well that explains everything.
apparently a hvs "attack" can cause spasms in the hands and feet - at least if we ever find you've locked, edited or removed loads of threads from here there is a good chance you weren't actually responsible and had gone mental.
i think the fora collective should be more concerned about you having a "breakdown" than anybody else. you know i wonder if your facade and apparent mental illness actually hides a rock-bottom self esteem?
Dr Lobster* wrote:i think it's very unfair and hypocritcal that you call the customer service agent in the "far east" a "numpty". after all he could have learning difficulties, a developmental disorder, a speech impediment or all three. but not only that, he can't post to defend himself which is a type of criticism on this forum you've prevously felt was "close to the bone" and have been keen to eradicate.

like a moderator you mean?

or are we all just jealous?

Dr Lobster* wrote:hmm.... you wrote at least three replies about taking the piss out of disabled people... claiming it was "close to the bone". and you're not a hypocrite, you say.....
Dr Lobster* wrote:it would appear that you have been intellectually defeated - you are unable to face up to your complete and utter hypocrisy and have had to respond with an insult.
Dr Lobster* wrote:and given he quietly deletes and edits threads it would appear that james himself has an inability to allow freedom of expression.
And all the above within the space of about 6 days. You'll note I've intentionally omitted the ones that seem to be "original" gripes... and I'm not saying that I disagree with them either. I'm just saying you seem to be labouring the point a bit much. Hopefully the sample above gives you some idea of your change in behaviour pattern.
EDIT: To clarify: I still feel Jamez is a hypocrite, but I've mentioned it once, I'm sure people are now aware of how I feel about him and have formed their opinions of him too, and that's that. Jamez has numerous flaws but my life would get incredibly tedious if I pointed them out on a daily basis. My issue with you is not your opions, which I already stated I happened to agree with by and large, but with the reapeated assault on him to the point where the majority of your posts concern him. Moreover, you seem eager to "stir up" the situation in many cases, thereby reigniting the dispute. The wiser thing to do is to let it drop and remain in the moral high ground. Attacking him at every opportunity resembles the antics of Sideshow Ed
et al, and lowers yourself to his level.
