so what have my fellow metropollers got planned for the festive season?

tonight and tomorrow night, myself, the lady and a few friends are heading down the local favourite pub (the globe) for a few beers and perhaps pile round somebody elses house after for a couple more beers and a pizza or something.

not sure what we're doing christmas eve yet

christmas day me and the girlfriend will be having dinner and home and then in the afternoon we'll be visiting both our parents.... we couldn't decide on which parents to go to for christmas dinner so we decided to have dinner at home and visit both in the afternoon.

as far as new year goes, not sure about that yet... we'll probably end up going to the globe, i'd probably rather do something different there isn't all that many half-decent places to that are affordable around here. i've seen some places charging 60 quid a ticket for new years eve for instance.

anyway, over to you, and post some pictures of your festive fun... i'll be uploading some as soon as i can ;-)

Hah! This time of year i prefer to spend with my friends. The only member of family i really have any time for is my brother and his kids.

Tonight, i will getting into the spirit of things with a glass or two of vino and wrapping prezzies.

Tomorrow i will be working, then tackling tescos at stoopid o clock for the grocery shopping and anything else i have no doubt forgotten.

Christmas eve.. again i will be working then i will be getting ready to let my hair down with friends ( party at my bestest mates house) thankfully she's within staggering distance from my house. No doubt i will make a few drunken phone calls and don't be surprised if i use her laptop to leave drunken messages for you lot ... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Christmas day i will wake the bloke at stoopid o clock as i will be sooo excited. Open prezzies then a glass of bubbly and a heart attack breakfast. Back to sleep for an hour or 2 before my mother visits. When she goes to her sisters,we'll make my way to my brothers intime for dinner and a drinking games evening.

Boxing day... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Eat.. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Eat Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

News year eve/day my bloke and i will do what we always do...
Just before midnight we go to the cliffs to look over the channel. Most of the ferries are in the harbour and on the stroke of midnight they all sound their foghorns one after the other. The fireworks are then set off over the castle. It is amazing, then we'll go home and crack open a bottle of, yes you guessed correctly, PLONK.

There's a rumour going round in the Secret Forum that Nick Harvey is going to spontaneously appear in the Chat Room on Christmas Day.

There's also a rumour in the Secret Forum #2 that James Martin is going to spontaneously combust on the site of Pebble Mill on Christmas Day.

Well we can live in hope can't we?

I thought he was we going to appear in a potato on Christmas day, which then in January would be sold on eBay under the titles "GOD'S FACE ON A POTATOE!!1 RARE1!!!11one!!!" ? OR is that one of God's little helpers, or is that St Nick? OR are you one and the same?
