Does anyone know any good free Spyware removal software I can download for a Mac?

Why on Earth would you be interested in that?

There isn't any sort of widely-distributed spyware for Macs out there. The fact that you have to put in your password every time something installs on the machine is also a barrier.

I wouldn't worry about downloading it, unless you're sure you've got some on there already.

After six weeks, my UK Online connection was finally activated. But although I'm on for an 8mb connection, I'm only seeming to have 2mb, and they recon it could be due to Spyware on my Mac.

Either it sorts out my connection, it proves the buggers wrong.

Exactly what I think, but I'm happy to prove them wrong.

Sounds like your line can't actually handle the full 8Mb - it's rather common...only very close lines to the exchange will be able to take advantage of the full 8. Sounds like they might be stalling you in downgrading to a (cheaper) slower package!

Ask them to check it out - you need to give them a kick up the arse... but they'll do good once you've got through to them.
Good Lord!
