Requests Forum: People seem hell-bent in not helping anyone else out. Overwhelming and childish air of superiority by proclaiming that they have the item requested, but won't or can't post it for various licencing reasons. Close this forum, too. It's pointless and makes the whole site look naff.

I wouldn't call for the scrapping of it, but more the fact that its members should be more considerate. I use this rule - if you have something you want to share, then share and offer freely. Or take it to PM if you don't want to share with the whole forum.

If you have something you want to swap, then PM or email but don't post.

If you have something they want and you don't want to give it out, then shut up. Don't gloat in a childish way about it - i.e. "na na na na na I have got this but you can't have it etc".

And the thing about not posting "library music" I don't get at all - there is a certain site out there that does have some pieces of library music available for its members to download free of charge like you would on TVF. It sounds a tad stupid - I very much doubt if any of these people requesting it will use it for commerical purposes, more for their listening pleasure.

Recently the moderators, especially myself, have become increasing annoyed at the way we are being derided by your petty comments.

I'd like to remind you that we don't owe you anything. I don't demand anything from members other than respect for the rules and are becoming more frustrated by the way you seem to swan about the site like you're a paying customer and we're your service provider.

We have no obligation to bow down instantly to every little whim and you can hardly blame us for increasingly ignoring your comments, valid or otherwise due to the pettiness of some of your posts. I'm not some dictator who bans any criticism - it's the only way we know what can be improved but when it's not constructive, I do wonder why I let people continue to participate.

You've made lots of insightful and interesting comments since you signed up but there is no other member on the site waging a one-man war against the moderators. It's usually a thankless task and that's fair enough but we can only take so much more abuse before considering removing your membership. If you can use the forum properly and write relevant posts, it would be a benefit to all.

I have always had my timezone set as GMT yet the clock is now wrong if I set it as that - it now has to be GMT-1.

I would rather the moderator in question stepped forth and revealed themselves doing the edit or PMed me, instead of hiding behind the moderator cloak. My door is always open and I would rather you 'fess up rather than remain in the shadows.

Perhaps they should also have some sort of system similar to the "edited by XXXX (member) XXXX times" for moderators?

Also, I would like to point out that I have no relation whatsoever to the "chris" on TV Forum.
