Does anyone how you can tell if a PC's USB ports are 1.1 or 2.0? This is because I've been having problems with my new Dazzle DVC 90 device which says that it won't work because it's a USB 2.0 device and mine is USB 1.1. However I'm sure I've used USB 2.0 devices before.
Thanks

If your PC is more than a couple of years old then it will likely be 1.1.
Video capture devices such as your dazzle card almost certainly won't operate properly, if at all, using USB1.1.
Many devices can run on both, but video capture requires high speed connections, and USB1.1 isn't up to the job.
Try and see if your dazzle card will operate on reduced settings - try capturing at a lower frame rate or size, for example.

Or, invest a few quid in a USB 2.0 adapter card, and pop it in a spare PCI slot.
