For the second Sunday night this month I'm having serious problems with my BTYahoo internet service. For example I can access TV Forum perfectly normally. I can access Metropol but very, very slowly (sometimes it times out). Gaydar does not work at all, neither did bbc.co.uk until 5 mins ago, now it's working perfectly.
This is only happening on Sunday evenings. I suspect the DNS routing is not coping with peak capacity, but of course "Gloria" at the helpdesk in India is not much help with such an issue and wants me to switch off my firewall. I asked why my firewall would only cause a problem on Sunday nights but I don't think I was getting the problem across. Anyone else having problems?

...it's a bit overwhelming.
I used to have major problems with (what was then) Freeserve dialup of a Sunday evening, usually between 6pm and 7.30pm. This was back in 1999/2000 mind.
I've had difficulty connecting before using Broadband on a Sunday night too, especially when we used to use the USB Dial Up modem that Freeserve provided. When we moved over to an ADSL Wireless Ethernet router last Summer (which resulted in an always-on connection) these issues were solved.
But I wouldn't call 6pm on a Sunday night a peak time!
