Taking part on Freeview at the moment. Forgot it was on until now.
Have any questions been asked yet or are they talking their annual bunch on crap?

Did it online and got a distictly average 48/70. It even says 'you're average' afterwards. Ho hum.
Expected to do a little better to be honest. I think I got tripped up with the Shakespearian English and the Collective Nouns. The 'Understanding'sections are pointless as they're memory tests rather than English tests. I understood all of the situations even if I couldn't remember the exact information (eg. the name of the person who phoned 'Terry Wogan').
*grated teeth* I guess it's just a bit of fun after all.

I did it in 10 minutes online, as I couldn't be bothered to give 3 hours of my life to this programme.
Got 54, but wasn't paying attention during the Dead Ringers clips, where they really necessary ? As you say, a test of memory not your command of the English language.
Also, questions about text speak ? Wonder if Nick Harvey got those ?

I've sunk a bottle of plonk at home, done some shopping on the net ( isn't the internet the best invention ever 8) ), i've been able to turn up the volume on my stereo as the neighbours are away.
Unfortunately my brain is not up to this type of quiz tonight ( is it ever? i hear you say). Which is why i opted for the TVF entrance exam. Far easier.
