Well to come clean, the reason I have not been posting here recently is that I've been in a clinic with severe depression, suffering from the same withdrawal symptons as you, Pete.
To be honest it was time and money, which I could put to better uses. And although popular locally, what the site offered was already served, on a more global scale, by other sites such as this one, and MySpace.
My new addiction is MySpace I have to admit. A lot of my friends are on it, so it's more than Faceparty which is just a profile site, and a forum for just posting, but incorporates the two. A profile of yourself, mates added, messages and bulletins to eachother, etc etc. Also, HTML code is allowed on your profile so you have complete freedom over how it looks etc. It takes a little while getting used to, and looks a bit shite from the outset, but is certainly worth it, and is a good hub for quick communication with others.
If anyone wants the URL to my profile, PM me. Keep posting here obviously, but maybe sign up there too?
