Yes, of course I am permantely in the forums 24 hours a day. Oh surely you have the intelligence to know that isn't possible. For starts I'm actually at work between 8am-5pm, though yes I do sometimes browse the forums when it is quiet at work.

Here's a thought...
There is actually 3 moderators and an administrator, meaning it is not just me that is responsible for a user not being banned. So for issues such as that lets not just 'blame Charlie', fair enough if you want to 'blame the moderators' though.

Anyway, now I've logged into TV Forum I've dealt with the matter. The 'RTP' does work, because that's how I was alerted to the latest thread as the link was red.

Will the user reincarnate? probably as the IP address constantly varies sometimes significantly, meaning an IP ban cannot be impossed. I shall have a hunt later tonight to find out what email addresses are being used, to date I've assumed that only one users is allowed to register under an email address.

Gavin: I'll PM you some info later incase the user decides to enter Metropol.

However this URL is not a direct link to the specific page where the 'news' is published, and it's not as if the site is using frames. Personally I had already had a quick check on this website earlier this morning, and had not found any news article of the sort.

The closest article I could find when typing 'Disney' into Media Guardian was a report on the new childrens' channel from ITV.

After experiencing the deluge of summer trolls for the first time, i got to thinking about the Christmas holidays. What does it get like when the kids have overdosed on e- numbers. Do they get worse during the festivities?

They only got a TINY bit worse last year, but that was before the change of moderation policy.

Now, with the ultra-left-wing, pro-seven-year-old, politically-over-the-top-correct, anti-anyone-with-an-IQ-of-over-eleven moderation, they'll probably run riot to a somewhat greater extent than they are this week.

I think TV Forum needs to seriously rethink not only it's moderation policy, but it's CONTENT policy. Some of the threads are repeats, and a lot of the threads are nonsense. Moderators need to clamp down on threads which aren't informative or hold any degree of intelligent and constructive debate.

Yes, Gavin, but that one will probably get slammed shut by Charlie and his magic padlock as being FAR too intelligent a thread to be allowed to continue.

How the hell he can soderate over there, with a pro-seven-year-old policy like that, then come over here and try to tell us how to find BBC pages about Google problems is beyond me.

I WAS moderately annoyed with the bloke a couple of weeks ago, now I'm phuquing mad with the idiot.

There's no need for that Nick.

By that I mean: we have no swear filter. Let it all out.

Yes I thought that was odd, too. The fact is, your commentary and acerbic wit is one of the benefits of the place. It's a bit like discussing the world with a mate, and finding something to laugh about in every subject.
