Encarta 2006 Question

Just a quick question. Can someone tell me what the difference is between Encarta 2006 Standard and Encarta 2006 Reference Library? Is the Reference Library a bigger and better version of the Standard version?

Encarta 2006 is available in two editions, Encarta 2006 and Encarta 2006 Premium.

Do you not find it odd that there is no mention of Microsoft Encarta 2006 Reference Library at Bill's site?

I even used Bill's search engine and it came up blank.

Maybe this reference library is some pirated copy of the real thing?

Well Amazon UK seems to think it exists.

There doesn't appear to be an Encarta 2006 Premium Suite in the UK. However, there is mention of an "Encarta Reference Library 2005" on the Microsoft website - or "Bill's site", if you insist - so you can't have used "Bill's search engine" terribly well. Bill would be ashamed of you.

I did a bit of research, but what I have found is the following:

Encarta 2006 Standard
Encarta 2006 Refrence Library
Encarta 2006 Premium

Is Refrence Library and Premium the same thing?

Your earlier post was clearly intended to demonstrate that the product didn't exist. That's why you pointed out that there was no mention of it on the Microsoft website, and why you implied that because of this absence from the MS site, that the product that J.Christie was enquiring about was in fact a fake product that didn't exist. That the MS site mentions an earlier version of the Reference Library edition should have been an indicator of the probable existence of a 2006 version. However, you were obviously incapable of joining these dots.

It's a shame that you simply can't admit that you were wrong instead of spinning an elaborate web of nonsense to excuse yourself. A simple Google search was all it took to find the information - not really that taxing, even for you.
