Fat chance, if you'll excuse the pun.

It was for me.

Dusty Jacket is a forum regular who's signed up to make an arse of himself.

Pity he didn't cover his tracks too well, though! Oh dear...

Hmmm, talking about Coke (a bit earlier in the thread), I bought a can on the Fort William - London Euston First ScotRail Sleeper yesterday for the pricely sum of...

£1.80!!!!!!!!!!

Petrol round our way is too expensive at the moment, but different prices in different post code areas:

BT/Safeway: 92.3/l
Asda Canford Heath: 89.9/l
Tesco Extra: 90.8/l
Tesco/Esso: 95.9/l
BP Charminster: 89.9/l
BP Winton (about half a mile away from Charminster): 92.9/l

Oh and, Watford Gap Services, M1, Rugby/Willoughby: £1.19.2/l!

Just thought't I'd edit the bit above as I was saying petrol was £92-30 a litre! Oops!

I saw the most expensive Diesel price ever today at the M4 services just outside Cardiff...

105.0 ppl!!!

Needless to say I went to the slightly cheaper Tesco just down the road where I still forked out 95.9 ppl :(

£20 in Fordel at 2am. I then went to Asda and attempted to buy a CD player but found I had insufficent funds. Bugger.

Oh well, I'll get it next week.

I then got a phone call at 9am from Lloyds's Fraud Squad asking me to confirm everything I'd used my card for yesterday as I'd used it so many times in different places.

The Esso at Wingreen is usually about the cheapest, if you're heading Corfe Mullen direction.
