Put Simply!..

You view Earth from space and can then zoom into a city for a closer view. It is amazing. In a couple of hours i've had a tour of London then onto NewYork and i am now about to tour the Grand Canyon.

Wow! What an amazing piece of kit. It's nice to remember that the world is a pretty fucking huge thing and isn't getting smaller despite the rise of communications technology that lets you talk to someone on the other side of the world as though they are on the other side of the street - all I've done is try to recreate a trip I did last weekend. I travelled from Redruth > Plymouth > Exmouth > Minehead > Porlock > Barnstaple > Bideford > Redruth. About 300 miles round trip (which involved about 8 hours driving alltogether). It's so far taken me 3 hours just to follow all the maps up to Exmouth. And that's just travelling within 3 counties of England. Zoom right back to the whole expanse covered, and it looks miniscule.

I'm glad I don't have a capped download rate, that's all I can say...
