don't we just? Although our store's plant room has half it's wall missing as the wood rotted.

I believe WHSmith have sold fags since the aquisition of Menzies when they had to compromise on the more newsagenty things like chocolate. Athough JM used to sell a much greater range of chocolate.

Oddly the larger less newsagenty shops such as Newcastle (which is 6 times the size of ours) have a greater array of food than ours which is an old JM.

My local WHSmith (Bury) started selling cancersticks recently. I thought it was to make up for the recent
closure of the nearby branch of Forbouys. Funnily enough, that shop contained the main Post Office.

Meanwhile, returning to the actual topic at hand, I'm sure most of you know my views about house-
spiders, which are completely and utterly harmless to us humans, but totally deadly to houseflies.

Never kill them. Don't even think about it. I mean, what have they ever done to us. Aside from make
some people turn into total wussies as soon as they make the slightest scuttle across the baseboard!

I hate spiders, esp after living in australia.

There huge, uber hairy and poisinous. Nuff said.

Oh and WHSmith is the only place ive seen where they sell them really nice Davidoff Cigerettes... So nice, so so nice

We don't have those in my shop. I've never heard of them before. What size is your shop? Is it a massive one?

Our air conditioning exploded yesterday after I heaped praise on it. Being the original Menzies aircon installed in 1987 it is apparently quite difficult to fix.

My phobia is cows, well, more specifically bulls. I got chased by one as a child. It didn't help that during my escape i got electrocuted by those invisible electric fences the farmers put around the field.
Until today i had managed to avoid these animals ( except for on my dinner plate) for the last 15 years or so.

I came face to face with a bull tonight. The bloody thing had escaped and the traffic had come to halt while it wandered up and down the road. My heart started pounding and i was rigid with fear. It must have sensed i was afraid because it chose my car to urinate beside while eyeing me menacingly. I was so scared i even stopped singing ( in the loosest possible term) along to Anastacia.
I was so relieved when it buggered off and the traffic started moving.
Bloody stupid farmers. If they can't keep control of their livestock they shouden't be allowed to keep them.
Mental anxiety, Mental breakdowns, Menstrual cramps, Menopause... Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with Men?

I think I probably have the worst spider phobia of anyone I know. Whilst I'm not normally a screaming lily livered girlie type, when i comes to spiders, I simply can't cope. Twice now, I have actually fainted, out cold, at the sight of one. The first time I did this was at my grandfather's house. I saw the biggest, blackest, fattest spider I have ever seen. I SWEAR it actually had feet.

The thought that it might have actually crawled over me when I blacked out is almost too much to bear.

Even now, I catch myself quickly scanning round the room before I will go into the bathroom.

i have recounted my mortal terror at even the thought of spiders on here in the past. however, fingers crossed, this year hasnt been too bad so far.

i would however like to ask, has anyone here ever had hypnotherapy to overcome their fear? i have contemplated it in the past, but never actually done anything about it.
