No, not me... ;) my flat.

The house was built in about 1866 (at least this is the earliest reference to it in Kelly's Street Directory and the census) and converted into two flats in presumably the 1980's. I find it increasingly annoying that my main room has only four plug sockets. Now, these comprise of two double sockets which wouldn't be too bad if were not for the fact that both of them (i.e. all plug sockets) are on ONE wall.
So, what I want to know is, how safe is it to plug extention lead into extention lead etc? The room is fairly large. I have the bed by the wall, with alarm clock radio and lamp, and at the moment the air cooler. All on the opposite side to the plugs. This PC is on the wall with the four sockets. Various in-built cupboards cannot be closed properly for extention leads drapped in front of them. On top of that I have hi-fi, DVD, TV, Set-top box... you get the general idea. The PC is plugged into a surge protector which if all very well and good but this still involves plugging further extention leads around the room for various things. Aside from move, what is the best option? :?

As long as there is nothing massive on the lines, you should be fine.

My house is pretty similar, everything is bias to one side, or no sides at all! We've got a bedroom with one socket. One bloody socket. We've got a four bar with another four bar and had no bother - however I do tend to switch everything off at night or when I'm going out.. but that's cos I is paranoid

Don't run any heaters or irons and you should be OK.

No more than 3000w per socket.
