I am currently looking for a 1gb memory card for my Fujifilm digital camera.
Now, I have seen a Fujifilm XD picture card (which I use anyway) with a capacity of 1gb, but it's release doesn't seem trustworthy. However, an Olympus branded XD picture card with 1gb capacity which is avaliable.
What I want to know, is that is their a difference between a Fujifilm XD card and an Olympus XD card.
Thanks
Fuji or Olympus XD Picture Cards
No difference whatsoever in terms of how they work - ive had an Olympus and Fujifilm XD for my digicam and both have been superb; both are trustworthy. I would just go for the cheaper option TBH.
I have always been under the assumption Olympus and Fujifilm fall nder the same company?

I generally use SD format in my camera, so can't comment on the specific cards you mention, but it is important to remember that cards only store pictures; they don't alter them.
You will pay more for faster transfer rates, but I'd go for the cheaper version personally.
If you have the spare cash, you might want to go for a digital album for about 150+ quid. You can go up to 350 quid for about 80gb, but I'd be surprised if you needed that. I'm thinking about getting a 20gb album for about 150-200 quid rather than buying a couple of 1gb cards.

I've used both Olympus and Fuji XD cards in my Olympus camera, and both work equally well. The only difference I'm aware of is you need to use an Olympus branded one if you want to use the panoramic photo option... although that's not something which has ever bothered me.
