RIP London
This represents another example of the Trisha-fication of our society.
Whenever you have an emotion, express it. Shout it loud and proud so you can prove to everyone else what a caring and deep humanist and human being you really are.
The victims and their families know we stand behind them. They're British, and they know that silent dignity and togetherness is far more expressive than this insincere religiously-motivated* bullshit.
Someone lost their stiff upper lip?
* check to see who's behind the site.

I couldn't agree more Johnny. People's reactions to tragedy these days seems so incredibly distasteful.
Personally I find the way people are suddenly clamouring to call Thursday's events '7/7' deeply, deeply crass. What has gone wrong with our society when we feel an urgent need to give a disaster a catchy, snappy 'brand name'? Why not go the whole hog and give it a logo with a trademark for fuck's sake?
Clearly this all started with the annoying 9/11 tag which only served to cheapen the world's worst terrorist attack. I wasn't surprised the Americans came up with something so tacky, but I hoped that the British might resist such bandwagon-jumping.

Loosely, VERY loosely, connected to this.
Did anyone notice the woman in the footage of Prince Charles at the hospital yesterday, who refused to shake hands with him because she was holding up her mobile phone with her right hand so she could get a close-up of his face?
Now, that I call RUDE.

A trivial matter in light of things I know, but I remember reading that if an attack such as this took place during a series of Big Brother, the "housemeats" would be evacuated and the series brought to a close, letting them know what had happened in case any relatives were involved/or in case of futher attacks. OK, life goes on, but having not seen it last night, are they aware of it?

"That one!"
That'd certainly screw the rest of the summer schedules for Ch4 and E4. But, in the light of what's happened, they should
at least let the housemates know, They should be called to the Diary Room individually, then be informed of the incidents,
and have counsellors on hand in case any of their relatives have been hurt or killed in this latest act of cowardly terrorism.

In regards To The Housemates of BB. Dermot said something simular to the following on BBLB on the day it happened:Brad wrote:A trivial matter in light of things I know, but I remember reading that if an attack such as this took place during a series of Big Brother, the "housemeats" would be evacuated and the series brought to a close, letting them know what had happened in case any relatives were involved/or in case of futher attacks. We have contacted the relatives of all housemates, all are safe & well so BB has decided NOT to tell them at Present.
I only watched to see if they HAD told them but as of yet they haven't
