In view of the recent spate of threads in another place, from some of our LESS intelligent colleagues, I thought it the right moment to generate a space over here for the MORE intelligent amongst us to post obituaries to those who might have caught a slight cold, but we feel OUGHT to have their obituaries posted sooner, rather than later, and in totally BAD taste.

Paul Hudson, rumour has it, is currently suffering from mild helicopter sickness. I'm sorry his warm front has cooled. We wish all his family a dry weekend with sunny periods.

I'd like to pay tribute to Genghis Khan, regarded with great respect by Mongols for ending centuries of war, and bringing political and economic stability to the Mongolian Empire. He made the Mongols the most feared nation throughout the entire world.

No-one could unite warring tribes like that man.

A great loss to us all, and deepest sympathies to his descendants.

"Goodbye Mongolia's rose,
May your brutality grow in our heart,
You were the terror that asserted itself,
By all those bodies torn apart."

Harry Hill : "What is it about people that repair shoes that makes them so good at cutting keys? Try going in there with a shoe shaped like a key and see how confused they get."

My thoughts are with their family.

Call that compassion, nodnirG?

I've already laid a wreath outside their ancestral home and donated 250 monkeys to their favourite charity.
