I've got windows 95 on about 15 floppy disks.
Ah, you have the MDF format disks (a proprietary Microsoft format which allowed them fit 1.9MB on a floppy disk), I've got the rarer 'backup disk set' which uses standard 1.38MB floppies - there's 31 of the buggers! And it takes over an hour to copy everything off them!
Anyway, weird stuff on ebay. Around 2002 a lot of people were selling 'secret ITV codes to get all ITV regions on Sky Digital'. Often packaged in the form of an 'engineering service document - for internal ITV distribution only'
What did these 'products' consist of? An explanation of how to use the manual tuning feature of a Sky Digibox, which as well as being fairly self explanatory anyway, is also printed in every Sky Digibox manual. And the frequency information for the 3 transponders, which were available on any number of websites.
Rather more disturbing, these ripoff merchants did actually have people bidding on these things.
