Things that make you go zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Sitting here on the internet in the wee small hours with the windows open on a foggy evening, I can hear the fog horns of the various ferries/liners/tankers going up and down Southampton Water. It gives me a feeling of hmmmm I can’t describe what. But I know as soon as I go to bed, those noises will be a mesmerising reoccurring reminder of balmy summer evenings that will just send me right of to sleep.

Question is…what is the thing the one thing that makes you go zzzzzzzzz?
I say it only because I'm good looking...

Men called Damien. They're just so endlessly tedious!

Rain. Especially if a lovely little breeze is coming in too.

But don't talk to me about summer evenings - think I've got some kind of mini-SAD at the moment. Weather has been absolutely lovely for a few days and have been out enjoying it but from today it's just made the day disappointing.

Hurry back sun...even if one day the total of my enjoyment of it was sitting on the Elephant & Castle roundabout.
Good Lord!

Ahhh the elephant and castle roundabout...somewhat further from Waterloo than what I had thought. I had to run that day, it wasn't good for my constitution. Although I refrained from stopping to have a wee in the nearest drain on the way.

I should think so! You're no Paula Radcliffe!

That's twice in the last year Paula Radcliffe has had to wipe her cheeks after a long run.

I've still found nothing that'll send me to sleep. I've just been for a walk, bugger all else to do. Amazing how many people around here are glued to their computer screens at this time of night, not that I was peeping in any windows... it looks like people around here have finally done what I did years ago and ditched the net curtains for either blinds or naked windows.

Anyway, yea. Erm... oh fuckit I don't know what I'm on about now. My constant yapping sends me to sleep, yea that's it.

*Sigh* I don't know what to do with myself. I've managed to upset someone on TV Forum which I'm now slightly upset about, messenger is dead - even the nerdiest of people aren't online, and they aren't supposed to have lives! I can't get the hoover out and start doing housework because other people are sleeping... damned night times. :(

Maybe I should get a job working nights in a vegetable factory.

Me?

I've discoverd a great insomnia cure - the school chaplain - he may possibly be the most boring nutcase you could ever meet.
