So, MSN Messenger 7 released today by Microsoft. You can get it from the official site. Not noticed much compared to the BETA.

To turn on the Music plugin, you have to go on to Windows Media Player and click Tools. Put your mouse over 'Plugins' and click 'MSN Messenger Music Plugin'. You then have to click your Personal Message on the main MSN Messenger window and click 'Turn on "What i'm listening to" feature and it works.

Cheers :P

It'll be either this week or next week, Row. They wanted to co-incide it with a Windows launch, but presumably they're getting that out of the way first.

Nice (but too bulky) brushed metal interface, and display pictures included.

Games and webcam support are in 2006, apparently.

Cheers for that, Tom. Wasn't expecting it so soon to be honest. Nice to see we will be able to have pictures, but as always not the full features available to Windows users, for obvious reasons.

But you won't be able to remove the bleeding ad banner at the bottom of the contacts window ...

Initial impression.... cluttered with a load of shite. :?

And it seems my window opener alert wont work so I'll stick with the previous version for now.
