Could members please post the websites they use to test their connection speeds? I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks.

How to use Google for morons...

1. Type "www.google.com" into the address bar in your browser
2. Then input some text into the search box. This is usually what you want to find.
3. Click "Search"
4. You get a page containing the results of your Internet-wide search.

I feel a prick, not the first time, in asking this, but I tried just that and got linked to a pile of shite. Not literally, but the websites I was directed to really did not help.

As a last and final resort I resorted to TVF/Lounge members, in my quest for answers.

But can I add a thread on arse wiping would be good. An appropriate follow on from the the shake/wipe thread, lol.

Well, there's the one on ADSL Guide - I'm told that's fairly reliable.

Also, look at the one on Giganews.

Thanks James, google was really difficult for me, now it's all simple. Perhaps you should write a book about it 8)
