I'm one of those people who still use TiVO -- and you'll note TiVO sells for much more than SKY+ does on eBay. TiVO have canceled their sales for listings in the UK not long ago due to a cancellation of a deal with Thomson who made the boxes but they're actually really useful, as TiVO still guarantee to provide listings for those who bought "lifetime memberships" -- plus it's plenty more useful if you don't happen to use Mr. Murdoch's SKY platform!

i like sky+ changed the way i watch tv, but i dont think the hard disk is big enough. i did read about a sky+180 or or something like that, with a monster 180 gb hard disk - if you can get one of these, then you'll find it hard to fault.

That's Sky+ 160. Personally I think the price is too much!Dr Sigmund Mohammad wrote:i like sky+ changed the way i watch tv, but i dont think the hard disk is big enough. i did read about a sky+180 or or something like that, with a monster 180 gb hard disk - if you can get one of these, then you'll find it hard to fault.
Sky+ is something I'd really like to have, but IMHO, the Sky+ box is way too expensive
and I strongly object to the extra monthly subscription charge that the service incurs.
