Free Dating Agencies

I wish I didn't have to ask this but...

Does anyone know of a good dating agency that doesn't cost you anything to use? I don't mean the millions of ones that say "Join Free" then charge you the earth to contact other members, but free to access all areas, end of.

I've tried FaceParty but it's useless, I haven't had one stroke of luck with it.

Try the Love at Lycos section at Lycos I wouldn't say its a clone of FaceParty as such but certainly has the same concept plus you don't have to pay because you've seen more than a 100 profiles.

As they say, the only way to find someone is to go into the big wide world, never worked for me, I stayed on here all the time. lol

if you want a 'good' dating agency, james, you are going to have to pay for it.

internet dating agencies are generally 'hit and miss' because there are always more men on them than women, so it is harder for blokes in certain cases.

a few people i know have had some success with dating agencies which match couples and arrange meetings based on a questionare filled out when you enroll, although these services are very expensive they do remove the effort of going out and meeting somebody because its done for you by somebody else.

i would go with what james is saying though - get a few turbo shandys down you and go on the prowl in your favourite nightspot. speak to as many women as possible, throw in your best lines, look lively, look confident, put your best outfit on, get a nice fragrance, be an entertainer. and when it looks like they're really having fun and enjoying your company say something like 'i've really gotta find my mates otherwise i'm not gonna be able to get home (or whatever), but i'd love to take you out for a quiet drink one nite (or whatever)' and get her number. this won't work everytime, because some women are really friendly and flirty even though they have no interest in you sexually (many reasons for this, dont take it personally) - but see it as good practise in perfecting your communication with women and working out what things work and dont work.

and even if you get blown out 10 times in an evening. don't give up, just keep trying. you will succeed in the end.

just make a note of the things you do and say which work with the kind of girl you're going for, and build on them.

That sounds like really good advice, failing that... there's always those ladies that advertise at the back of the local newspapers 8)
